Master’s Thesis – Attending Presentations

// October 20th, 2009 // No Comments » // Uncategorized

One of the requirements of doing your master’s thesis project is being present at two master’s thesis presentations given by other students. If you are going to sit through one, make sure you print out and take along a Work Card. After the presentation, fill out the details of the presentation you listened to and get it signed by the examiner (who should be present at the presentation too).

Selecting and registering courses for spring

// September 14th, 2009 // 1 Comment » // Uncategorized

Don’t worry, the courses of the fall semester have already been registered by our lovely counselor.

This article is going to introduce you how to select and register courses for the spring semester (3&4 quarter). You can directly finish this work in the student portal instead of asking help from the student counsellor. We believe this would save some time for you as well.

Although the courses are kind of restricted during the first year, you still have choices and have to select courses by your own. The period of course selection would be around the beginning of December, we will remind you later.

Then, at the beginning of the spring semester, you can go to the courses, see if you want to take them or change your selection. Finally you register for them through the student portal. It means you will attend for these courses.

It is very simple, isn’t it?

If you want to take courses in other programs, please refer to the introduction of second year course. Or you can email to idso.chalmers [at] gmail.com, we are very glad to answer your questions.

Welcome

We’re a student organization for the Interaction Design program at Chalmers. We’ll be introducing ourselves and our aims on the 31st August at the enrolment day. Until then you can read a little about the group on this site and see some of the events we’re planning (look at the list on the right).
